Twiggy From Bistra Exhibition on Wolves

The exhibition about wolves at the Slovene Hunting Museum was conceived in order to expose the stereotypes about this animal. Two kinds of space where created: a dark, fun-fair-haunted-house-like space, with UV lights and phosphorescent caricatures of werewolves on the mirrors, in which the visitors become werewolves themselves, and a more traditional exhibition space with information on wolf extermination in the past. Whereas the dark corridor affects visitors’ emotions, the conventional space provides them with information.

The exhibition concludes with information about today’s management of wolf population in Slovenia and the efforts to raise awareness about the possible coexistence with humans.

The exhibition opened in mid May and will continue until May 2013.
