TRUTH = LIGHT

Exposing the truth in art is the main theme of this play about the Venetian artist Ana Galactia who is commissioned by the Venetian republic to paint the famous battle of Lepanto. The power of the state is represented by a number of abstract columns that create the palatial rooms. The truth is represented by light that scorches the stage just like the truth on the painting scorches the Venetian political scene.
