In her autobiographical narration called “Meeting with the Past” Rosa Erdem faces her personal story from her childhood onwards. But this personal narration also intersects with the collective memory of recent Turkish history spanning from 1980’s to date. With her storytelling and remembering process, she invites the audience to face their own past, too. This revisiting of the past carries the promise of a personal and collective healing process.
