Sanja Jurca Avcı to Design the Evolution Exhibition for the Slovene Natural History Museum in Ljubljana

Sanja Jurca Avci of AVCI+ was recently commissioned to design a temporary exhibition on Evolution for the Slovene Natural History Museum in Ljubljana. The commission came as a result of an invited ideas competition and tender. The proposal was to present the principle of the evolution that governs our planet in an attractive way, targeting predominantly school children and families. Including various techniques such as large-scale models, skeletons and projections, childrens’  interaction and hands-on experiences is set to make this one-space exhibition an intriguing yet legible experience. The author’s aim is to raise awareness about the mechanisms that exist on our precious planet.
