Selçuk Avcı, board member of The Turkish Green Building Council
Founded in 2007, the Turkish Green Building Council aims to contribute to the building industry’s development by means of spreading the principles of sustainability. At the association’s 4th General Assembly of Turkish Green Building Council (TGBC) Dr. Duygu Erten was elected as the new Chair of the Board of Directors, Selçuk Avcı of AVCI ARCHITECTS and Koray Uygur of BASF Turkey as vice presidents.
Turkish Green Building Council was granted the Full Council Status by the World Green Building Council (WGBC) in June 2012 and continues to develop its substructure through an increasing participation in other Green Building Councils (GBC’s) around the world and in the local construction sector.
