WHO WE ARE

Avcı Architects was founded in 1989 by Selçuk Avcı and Sanja Jurca Avcı, growing into a globally recognized architecture practice with offices in London, Istanbul, and Ljubljana.

From the very beginning, our ethos has been defined by collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to sustainability. Architecture, for us, is not a solo endeavor—it is a shared creative process that thrives on multidisciplinary collaboration and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

We do not design in isolation. Every project we undertake is a conversation between architecture,

Our practice has received numerous international and national awards, including First Prize for the Turkish Contractors Association Headquarters, a project that set a regional benchmark in LEED Platinum certification. We have been at the forefront of energy-efficient design since our early days, having won First Prize in a European Union competition for Energy-Efficient Buildings in our founding year.

With a legacy of over three decades, we continue to shape the built environment by pushing the boundaries of sustainability, integrated design, and forward-thinking architecture.
