The Symbols of Slovenia

Sanja Jurca Avci took part in the invited competition for the exhibition of the Symbols of Slovenia in a historical building on the island of Bled. Her proposal is based on the creation of a limitless white space into which exhibition stories could then be placed. The central white space showing Slovenia’s state symbols is gently influenced by the colored light coming from the neighboring spaces respectively denoting the three storyline chapters placed into the rest of the exhibition spaces on this floor.
