Going to Africa

AVCI Architects have started preliminary concept studies on two projects one in Saudi Arabia and another in Libya.

Libya is currently undergoing political reconstruction as a result of the civil war that ended in 2011. The International Monetary Fund estimated Libya’s real GDP growth at 122% in 2012 and 16.7% in 2013. By October 2012, the economy had already recovered from the 2011 conflict, with the consequential rebuilding of Libya’s infrastructure creating great interest for international construction companies. Same as with other countries in the continent the sector is now growing rapidly.

Provided that the political and economic stability is sustained, the continent is likely to become an interesting architectural oasis.
