Anchored by the Flow Wall—a dynamic, kilometer-long parametric installation—six interconnected lounges unfold across 19,000 square meters, guiding passengers intuitively through a sequence of exclusive, immersive spaces. Inspired by Turkish Airlines’ brand philosophy of ‘flow’, the design brings together architecture and experience in a seamless, continuous narrative.

An Architecture of Movement and Belonging

Strategically aligned with the airport’s central axis, the Flow Wall echoes the domed geometry of the terminal roof, becoming a defining architectural element within the airport. More than a visual guide, it orchestrates passenger movement while reinforcing the identity of the lounges as a unified, iconic destination.

A Network of Lounges Designed for Distinction Two 6,000 sqm international departure lounges tailored for business class and loyalty members, A 2,700 sqm Exclusive Lounge for the airline’s most frequent travelers, A dedicated domestic lounge featuring a private check-in and departure terminal

Where Architecture Meets Emotion

Avcı Architects’ contribution focused on integrating cultural layers, material detailing, and spatial functionality that resonate with the emotional journey of travelers. Within this scope, local design sensibilities and construction expertise transformed the Flow Wall vision into a built reality that celebrates movement, identity, and place.

A New Benchmark in Global Aviation Design

Combining architecture, brand, and experience, the Turkish Airlines International Lounges reshape expectations of what airport environments can offer. The result is not only an elevated lounge experience, but a redefinition of the airport as a cultural space—where every transition becomes part of the journey.
