Permanent exhibition in the new Slovene Banking museum tells a story of money and banking practices. Located in the oldest purpose built bank in Ljubljana, it boasts the elegant spaces of a one-time banking hall. The exhibition design is restrained and elegant itself: it provides a neutral background to tell the history of money and banking. When moving into the history of banking in Slovenia, the design becomes more intricate as it follows the storyline and expands into interactives and multimedia.

The development of banking practices is shown through respective exhibition environments representing typical banking positions of each era. The present trend of banking anywhere anytime« is shown with the use of VR glasses. Visitors’ expererince is completed by a walk-in one-time bank vault with all its components as well as by a »financial labyrynth«, a spatial interactive where the visitors can test their knowledge about personal finances.
