The Dragon of All Dragons
Hosted in the dramatic Kazemate space of Ljubljana Castle, The Dragon of All Dragons was a temporary exhibition exploring the mythical origins of dragons across cultures, with a central focus on the iconic Ljubljana dragon. This immersive exhibition invited visitors to uncover the deeper meanings behind one of the city’s most recognized symbols. At the heart of the exhibition stood a reinterpretation of the famous Dragon Bridge statue. Unlike the original heavy bronze sculpture, the newly commissioned piece was designed as its opposite—a delicate, luminous apparition, capturing the dragon’s ethereal presence through lightness and shimmer.

The exhibition transforms Ljubljana Castle into an immersive journey where interactive elements, light, and storytelling bring dragon mythology to life.
An Immersive, Interactive Experience
Beyond static displays, the exhibition was designed to be a sensory journey, blending: Interactive elements, allowing visitors to engage with the dragon’s mythology. A carefully curated interplay of color and light, creating an atmosphere of mystery and wonder. Layered storytelling techniques, revealing the cultural significance of dragons across civilizations. Through its dynamic design and experiential approach, The Dragon of All Dragons transformed Ljubljana Castle’s historic setting into an otherworldly exploration of myth and legend.
