ÜLKER CHILDREN'S ART WORKSHOP

Istanbul, Türkiye
2015

Ülker Children’s Art Workshop was designed for ArtInternational 2015 at Haliç Congress Center to introduce children to art through spatial play. Led by Sanja Jurca Avci and sponsored by Avci Architects, the project welcomed kids into a castle-like entrance, followed by an Art History Tunnel and three interactive action rooms where they could paint, draw, and explore creativity hands-on.

Children transform the space into a canvas of creativity, learning through play and exploration.

Designing Space for Creativity

Spanning 400 sqm, the workshop used modular cardboard boxes as building elements—transforming into castles, caves, and seating. A simple color palette of Ülker red, white, and grey made the space legible and engaging. Combining art, architecture, and play, the design offered an inspiring, interactive learning environment that encouraged children to express themselves freely.

Empowering children through art, architecture, and play.
A wall becomes a canvas—every stroke a story by a young artist.
