Age-old and recent artefacts resonate in harmony with this historic building that smells honey-like of old timber ceilings and echoes of its meditative contents within thick stone walls.

Room by room, period by period, the history of Christianity in Slovenia is told. The design takes lead and is inspired by the colours of the wall frescoes, the artefacts, the views, the gestures of the statues, the architecture of the spaces. Clearly modern interventions stay clear of the historic building out of respect.
