Respective exhibition storylines (the cathedral’s history, its musical heritage, John Swift, St.Patrick) are intertwined with the cathedral’s fabric. They each appear where the story can be told against its setting. Divided like this, the exhibition does not dominate the church’s environment but rather explains it and complements it. The entire space is “held” together by an interrupted metal band on the walls, containing quotes from St.Patrick’s prayers.
