The Knight, the Lady and the Dragon

Sanja Jurca Avci of Avci+ is involved in the final preparations for the major exhibition in the Slovene National Museum on the knighthood The Knight, the Lady and the Dragon, for which she is doing content interpretation and exhibition design. Subtitled as The Legacy of the Medieval Warriors, the exhibiton challenges todays audiences with the one-time values of chivalry.

Sanja is achieving the rough and tough military atmosphere by using black-metal walls as space organizers and chainmail as space dividers and contrasting it with soft fabrics where needed. Various environments are evoked – that of a battlefeield, of an interior of a castle, of a tournament tent, etc. The exhibition which will put on show over 400 exhibits, some of them also on loan from Kunsthalle Museum from Vienna, opens in early December.
